MBM Dutch Cruise: eight months ahead?

Just returned from yet another looting expedition around the town, empty-handed again. Ever since the local shops were swept away with a freak wave two months ago we've been driven to the limits of our culinary resourcefulness in attempting to conjure up a nutritional menu. But our interminable diet of tulip bulb stew drags on. Still no response from IPC since they moved offices. At least our funds are slightly healthier today: we’ve sold all but three of the original fleet of 26 boats, and are finally up to date with the berthing fees and mountainous phone bills. The crews, decimated after the badly-planned attempt to storm what turned out to be an undercover Dutch patrol vessel, are getting along well, despite the ever-present rain and wind, now in its 243rd day. Hopefully the weather will improve in the late spring. More news soon.
 
crews wary of the newly introduced internaltional drinking and boating regulations forbiding the consumption of alcohol by anybody onboard any vessel at any time sensibly while away the time in the local coffee shops.............before racing wildly, and in fits of giggles (but sober), around the navigation marks on their way to the next port of call.
 
Dutch international navigation marks seem strangely at odds with the UK system there being evidence of far more porthand marks than starboard......one of the crew hailed a young lass near the harbour entrance to enquire about them before causing a collision through ignorance and was swiftly shown what to do although apparently this involved going upstairs with her................
 
The long range weather forecast from the Russian institute of meteorology predicts even worse to come. However help is at hand in the shape of one of our enormous transport planes which we will lend to fly your fleet back to England. All you have to do is find a way of sailing your little boats to Moscow airport and then loading them onto the plane. We will then attach parachutes and drop them off at your home port. Hopefully they will land in the sea or if it is winter and you have a cradle then we will aim for that. All of this we will do in the name of world peace and mutual co-operation.
