MBM article on Studland Seahorses

He is desperate! All his proposals have been rejected, nobody goes diving with him as the weather has been so **** until recently so no divers equals no observations of seahorses.

So he is churning out the same old photos and misinformation and the press are biting because Kate's baby has not appeared on time and people dying in NHS hospitals no longer makes interesting copy. Same stuff appeared in a number of national papers or on websites.

Thankfully the people responsible for making decisions don't at the moment respond to this kind of pressure.

MBM Deputy Editor has been contacted, and our views made known. She has promised a 'more balanced report' will be published.

NGM has also contacted me denying that he ever accused 'rich yotties' of 'destroying Studland'. Sounds as though a badly worded press release has blown up in his face. The press no doubt being short of good copy, as Kate hasn't had her Baby yet!

Err...... it seems they have given both sides of the story and it has been published in a section of the media that is only read by the boating classes, many of whom one suspects, would deny there was a problem, even if Jesus himself appeared standing on the water and told them their anchors were the cause :)

That is straight from NGM, although edited compared with the full text that was in the Mail on line. No additional material from the "journalist". At least the Telegraph in its editing did say that no decision had been taken on the site, although stopped short of giving any reasons why.
