Pleased to say mine arrived today. Congratulations and thanks - nearly all the content was interesting - best edition for years. Was actually worth waiting for./forums/images/icons/smile.gif
Interesting to see that 2 of IPC mags did a test on one model of boat and they came up with different plus & minus points. Who said there was a conspiracy between them/forums/images/icons/shocked.gif Or does the fact that they both tested this boat smack of collusion? /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
Thanks anyway - an excellent read.

The February issue of MBM promised a "Our essential lock-by-lock guide to the River Thames" for the March issue. SWMBO was not best pleased when it has failed to appear in March issue. Any news Kim ??

I bet it is not done by IPC but by a specialist mailing company that are sub contracted by IPC. Someone, either IPC or the Company, manages the subs database. They then create a mailing run - probably with a sort order - with Scotland last, quite right as well. I had mine for ages and have read most articles twice over. I could let you borrow it but its a long way for you to come.

BTW can't stop long its nearly time for the kick off - and I love seeing the underdog get a good hammering. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Yes, it is a good issue, however I was expecting a Windy Zephyros 58 test (as advertised in January) not just a two page look up. My expectations were raised and dashed :(

Well played the men in Blue
Very Scrappy game - but whose fault was that.
- Not the ENGLISH /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
- Not the SCOTTISH /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif
Had to be the ref - as Max Boyce once said "Blind Irish Referee" /forums/images/icons/blush.gif - but his cheque from Sir Clive is in the post. IMHO /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Just a pity about the Ejit with the whistle.

Re: which should I cancel?

I subscribe to both MBM & MBY and I think you are right they are becoming very simular in their articles! one prints a story and you can bet your life that the other has it the following month!

Time to cancel one subscription, but which one..... hmmm!!

Apologies for lack of Thames guide in March edition. Unforeseen hitch with story. Promise it will appear in April. Glad you like the way the rest of the mag is going
