Maybe the Boat of our Future ?

Its a good for use as a swiming platform , also sunbathing on, taking ones drinks aboard , maybe even the Local Riverside Cafes serving ones Lunch on , you know , waitresses dressed as Mermaids maybe ; the mind gets blown away with the prospects ; beats any Gin PLace anyday with Carisma DSCN1938.JPG

Don't think it's properly fitted out.

Needs optics, glass racks, beer pumps etc.

Shower?

Or with some extra plumbing maybe a thatched pissoir?

(As yet an uncommon sight in Devon.)

Warm breeze? Are you sure? Can't remember more than one day ever when shade whilst sailing was needed in UK?
I remember in 1996 having a pair of baby beach brollies stuck into the sheet winches to protect our latest little one from the strong rays on the passage from Boulogne.

He's a bit tougher now.

And the offshore version.
I remember the "ice cream" boat that came around an anchorage somewhere near Nice. Pretty certain I only remember it because it was a bit top heavy (probably the ice cream container. Might also have been a memory of the blonde French lady looking up at me and asking if I wanted anything.:D

William Willis did it years earlier in his raft " The Seven Sisters". I read the book as a youngster & was in awe of his adventure. The OPs submission is nothing in comparison to the 7 sisters. Even made the Con Tiki look second rate. But i must admit, that inflatable in #12 does look interesting ;)

Ideal? yes! But in my experience of Devon thats about 3 days a year....:ROFLMAO: I mean its hardly an AWB (All Weather Bar?) even with the thatched roof!

Well I will have you know , that most of this Winter we have been somewhere ear the centre of a High , so we have been basking in Bright Direct Sunlight with Clear Blue Skys , for most of our days ; only poss issue , is that there has been very very little wind ; but as I am a Motor Sailor its been just near perfect boating weather ; almost calm water with very little waves

Honestly yea Honestly

I saw that craft bar boat thingy in teignmouth a couple of summers ago.
I did think the guy helming it had just had as many pints as me , and then took off up the river for possible chaos!

Don't fancy getting it across the bar with a fresh southerly breeze there !

Well a recent photo showing just why South Devon is certainly a good place for such a Craft

What a better place eh ? can imagine relaxing in a recliner with favoured drink in hand whilst watching the Sun Setting gradually up river over the Moors
A fitting place for such a craft I am sure
