Maybe, just maybe....

Tonight I have been industrious.

To match Lynn's effort while I was in Scotland jugging my liver with the Evil Morgana, (she antifouled the whole boat and polished the whole topsides. Top Bird.) I have tonight:

Got the electrics to stop discharging a wiggly amp at all times. At last. This had the side effect of making the battery charger show on the Battery Monitor, a first.

Had the Kiwiprop apart got all the shellfish beasties out of it, greased everything in sight and put it back on.

Fitted the Tides Marine seal and hooked up the shaft to the engine. Cripes, its all in line like it should be. Whatever next.

Didnt get the anodes on the shaft or the Trilux on the prop.

Tomorrow night will be taking cushions, sails and the other junk down, and finishing the watertightness projects.

Really looking hopeful now. We will launch on the tide on Friday, and use the next tide to prove out the boat, then with luck we will toddle round to Bradwell Saturday afternoon all going well, or get there by car if not.

Jims happy at the moment....... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well, nothing to stop the launch now.

Anodes on, prop gear all Triluxed (why is that stuff so expensive?).

Travelhoist ready to lift me tomorrow to antifoul the centre plate and under the keel.

Just got to put all the stuff on board, put sails on etc.

Its all still a mess down below, but we will deal with that over the weekend.

I just hope the engine starts and pumps, no reason why not.

Only bad news?

The damned floorboards have warped in the wet.
