Maxi-Craft

I have a friend who has a small fishing boat (about 12 feet) called a Maxi-Craft. A badge on the boat also states Poole Quay, so we assume this is where the boat was built. He wants to buy a new outboard and needs to know the weight and capacity of the boat. Does anyone know of this builder and where we can get more information?
