Mate N Lock

I have Mate N Lock connectors on my 420 distribution panel on a Bavaria 31. I am thinking of replacing them as I think you need a special tool to remove the needles and there are one or two broken wires which need repairing. Would it be a feasible idea to replace them with terminal strips? Or is there an even better way?

I used to use them at work, no special tool, use a needle or pin to push the tongue flat. Better to replace pins than use a terminal block! There are lots of good more modern connectors, but if you have multi pin connectors you are setting yourself a big task to replace them all, much easier to replace any broken pins.

The proper tool is very expensive. But see if ou can make this, it will make your life a lot easier.
