Masthead Lights

[Athene V30]

Had my mast down for the winter this year to do a few jobs and have taken the opportunity to check the masthead tricolour and anchor light.

Think it needs replacing - just a little opaque where it should be clear! Steaming light isn't much better. The nav lights at deck level seem OK.

Guess that means I'll have to change the whole thing and not just the lens.

Marinaspec ceased trading possibly 25 yrs ago.
get a nice Aquasignal one, it will see you out

Those on ebay are expensive because of the postage. The new in store RRP for these lights is 45 quid - reduced by NASA last month

I have seen them before but would prefer a combined anchor / tri rather than have to try and fit one on top of the other.

LED must be the type to use

Bought these on eBay last month.

Different price range; but have a combi-bow and am very please with it. Good visibility, minimal power consumption and rock solid.
Looked at the NASA ones, and they seemed flimsy by comparison.
