Mastervolt Whisper 8 Fuel Filter

This generator has a Mitsubishi L2E engine. It uses an inline diesel fuel filter. I'm looking for the 'equivalent' fuel filter since the Mastervolt ones are not locally available and the US distributor charges over $30 for what appears to be a $5 item.
