Having fitted two Victron Blue smart chargers .. one to the C38 and other to my P24 mobo ... I had the MV dual charger still on bench ..

My 25ft Motor Sailer has survived with Maplin charge splitter and also small battery maintainers for many years ... but now is time to sort out a more 'solid' installation.

With the cabin 'furniture' removed after the keel repairs - it was a simple job to wire in the unit ...

But I have one major gripe with the unit ... why do they insist of fixed charged leads ... which then makes it harder to install ... at least the Victrons allowed installer to fit own leads - making routeing etc easy. But the MV unit has fittings that require 18mm holes to pass through etc.

But its now fitted and all good till I refit the new furniture - then I will have to start drilling those holes etc ...

They don't! It depends on which model you bought.

Perhaps you could cut the fittings off and fit your own after routing the cables though smaller holes

and I noted that the single unit has fixed leads as well ...

If you look at the units - they have fuse holders part way along leads as well as crimped on connection rings at ends. Even the mains input lead is fixed and with molded plug ... cutting of any would invalidate warranty ...
