Mast (s) Transportation North

Next spring/summer will be heading north - this time though rather than carry the masts on deck ( a few close shaves on the journey south) we will be sending the main and the mizzen by road.

Does anyone have any contact info on a good company to use for the following 2 options ?:

Option 1 - Sete (or possibly Cap d'Agde) to Paulliac/Royan ie. using the Canals de Midi/Garonne

Option 2 - Port St Louis (or nearby) to Le Havre ie. Rhone and canals north via Paris to the Channel ports.

or any other good gen which may have slipped my mind ?

Mast transport

We have (of course ) a bunch of information about un-masting, carrying the mast, transporting it and re-masting on the Grehan website. Including a note about Wolfgang Graf - but is there anyone else that does it?

Please let us know what you decide, we are doing the same next spring, need to transport mast to Royan/Pauliac, while we go north up the midi. Do get in touch, though we may meet up in Navy service! Would be nice to share the transport and perhaps the costs??
