I was at the Fort Myers boat show last weekend and was marveling at the monster 350 HP Yamaha outboard. The Yamaha dealer told me there is an even bigger outboard motor - the Seven Marine 557. Mind blowing:

Yes, it's a GM engine, a supercharged V8.

Yamaha used to be the most powerful outboard in production, for a while!

I'm not sure we'll see those Seven motors over here in the UK though, certainly not for a while anyway.
