I have used Rutland 913's for battery charging for many years now and found them excellent.
I had a problem recently with the charger and it was fixed under warranty in good time, no quibble.
I would thoroughly recommend this type of wind gen. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yes, I agree. As I've posted on here before, Marlec are one of the best companies, marine or otherwise, I've ever dealt with. Like you, we've always had superb aftersales service and help no matter how old our unit was.

No connection etc except as a very satisfied customer.

Hear Hear!!

Bought a 913, a couple of solar panels, and controllers a year ago, pre and post sales support has been excellent. Completely satisfied with the system they designed for me.

Can't recommend them highly enough - no connection, just a satisfied customer.

Oh and by the way the 913 is "near silent" in operation unlike some of its competitors which howl in anything of a wind!

Agreed - just replaced our Aero4gen with a Rutland 913 - we did put a piece of neoprene between the bracket and the gantry (as we did with the Aero4gen) and it is very nearly silent - excellent (the neoprene does make a difference though - high recommended - just go to a diving shop and get an offcut).
