Basically the title says it all!
I bought this about 10 years ago when it was in pristine condition.
Previous owner said it had done less than 10 hours, and it looked like it and ran like it.
It started easily, ran like a sewing machine, and was totally reliable.
For shorter runs I prefer to row, so I just used this occasionally when making longer runs.
Over 5 years I ran it for 10, maybe 15 hours, for a 2.6m Zodiac & 2.7m Avon
Then 5 years ago I hurt my shoulder just before a cruise, so to avoid aggravating my shoulder I took a lighter 2.5hp motor borrowed from a friend.
One thing led to another and the boat is now in the med, and this motor is no use to me here, so I'm selling it.
Stored in a cool dry frost free location.
BUT
It doesn't now start.
I suspect, in the chaos 5 years ago, I must have left petrol in the carb, which is now a bit gummed up?
Anyway, I was going to get it serviced etc and then list it on fleabay.
But thought I'd check first if anyone here wants it as is for £300, collect Maidenhead near M4 J8.
If not no worries, I'll get it serviced and then sell it once it's back up and running
Any q's just shout.
