Marine Teak had a stand at LIBS, and they had a table suitable for Rafiki's cockpit:

I know that there are some who think that caulking should only be used on decking, and preferably white at that :D

However, the design is just right for Rafiki, with the Azimuth in the centre. For me this looks great made up for lunch:

I used Semco sealer, as any teak that will meet food or drink is going to stain. The Semco was very easy to apply with a lint free cloth, and I am very happy with the finish.

Thank you Marine Teak.

Looks great!
Luke has been trying to sell us one for a while and I wouldn't hesitate if it wasn't for the fact that we already have a nice table :)

That looks really nice Rafiki , I bought one for our old sealine and never got the chance to use it . The new owners commented on the fact that the caulking creates a nice non slip effect ( JFM ;) )

Nice looking table - we bought one with a sliding mechanism for our old boat (replacing the white grp one) - only to sell the boat complete with table after about 2 months use. Think I sat at the new table twice !!!

They do make a good looking product for not silly money though.

Looks great Paul.. and they've (Luke) has donated a table to the raffle /auction at the beer and natter on the 6th June. It's at home and looks very nice indeed :encouragement:

Looks fabulous,

Would worry about hanging on to your boat though, we haven't sat at our 1m slide yet but have paid the deposit on another boat.

Looks like Luke will be getting another call from us as they are lovely tables at really good prices.

Looks nice, just don't invite any guests on board! :D

Seriously, wouldn't a table with folding leaves have been better, given that you have a nice wide bench seat? I seem to remember that marine teak make them. As always though, it depends how you use the boat, and it's obviously right for you.

We have other options if there are more guests, but this one works fine for us.

Andy - you're the third person who's bought a table and then sold the boat it's attached to !! They obviously work as a very effective sales tool. The boat I'm currently looking at in Italy will definately need a new one as the current one is knackered. Looks like Marine Teak are onto a winner.

Mike, if it's an S37 pm me lol

Andy - is the one you have an S37 specific one or a generic one - I know someone in Brixham looking for one to go on a non S37 boat. What size is yours ?
