Marine Surveyor Recommendations for Eastbourne area.

Hi all,

I'll be viewing a sail boat lying at Sovereign Harbour soon and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a marine surveyor who covers that area?

I'm searching the YDSA site, etc. but personal recommendation would be useful.

I was looking at his website earlier! Do you know of him by reputation/personal experience?

Yes. He surveyed a wooden Golden Hind for me - he used to be an instructor at the IBTC. Very thorough if a little dour. Good report and discussed what he found with me in site. Things that were unexpected and I withdrew from the purchase as a result. All very amicable with the seller as he did not know about what was found.
