I have to say "Thank You for Excellent Service" to this company especially the Port Solent Store.

I purchased my Garmin wind, Speed and Depth equipement there and later 2 more display units online, the advice was brilliant, staff helpful and delivery was fantastic!

Well done and keep it up, I will be back and soon

Yes, I have always found them helpful.
And I would say, I have found chandleries in general to give good service. And sometimes cheaper than (say) B&Q.

Good service here too, they let me have a different map cartridge than the special offer one when I bought my plotter & they usually have the best price available for electronics. Apart, that is,from Marine Megastore, with whom they should definitely not be confused...

+1, I have always had excellent service from the Port Solent store, friendly, a good range of kit and they refunded an electronics unit I complained about with no quibble.

They will also order any wierd, non-mainstream items for you. If you can find it in a catalogue or supply a part number they will get it for you. They managed to get me a Hall effect PCB for a TP10 tillerpilot, sensible price too.

People make companies - I've found Port Solent really helpful and with an enormous stock - and I'm not even a local as the boat's in Messolonghi.

I did not know that Marine Super Store of Port Solent had a branch in the Republic of Ireland. Are you sure that this 'local branch' is part of the same company?

It would be rather unfair to criticise MSS for the performance of an entirely separate business!

We've had consistently good service from the Port Solent company, online, by phone and at the store.

Having just double checked their website, I'm pretty certain MarineSuperstore only have the one brick and mortar venue, based in Port Solent, Portsmouth. I think the place you're referring to is a different company.
