"Marine" spec gas regulator, or ebay cheapy?

I've always thought that an improvement on the bulkhead fitting is to drill out the land (as already mentioned) to take a continuous pipe run. But to further improve it the olives should be replaced by o-rings so as to avoid creating hard spots and potential fracture if subjected to vibration.

I had trouble with my standard regulator at one time and replaced it with a another cheapie. I examined the old one and found the trouble with it was just a blocked vent hole probably due to webs from my spider infested gas locker. I was able to clear the blockage using a thin piece of wire and it worked properly again so now I have a spare.
