Has any body got positive or negative comments about service from MarineScene.co.uk before I spend my money?

I bought an LED tricolour bulb from them a couple of years ago. One of these. http://www.marinescene.co.uk/images/ecs led2.jpg

I fitted it to the boat but apart from testing it, I didn't use it during the season. Before I launched next season I found it had failed. Marinescene replaced it without hesitation (although I had to send the old one back - seems fair) even though I had bought it about 15 months earlier.

I tend to judge companies by how they behave when things go wrong. Top marks to Marinescene from me.

Local S Wales company. They used to have a store in Penarth before 'expansion' led them to centre operations on their warehouse near Porthcawl last season. Have not bought from them since they closed their Penarth chandlery, but that's no point of principle, just one of convenience. They are a genuine 'bricks and mortar' company and I am sure your order with them will be fine.

Concur with other positive comments - good prices on most items, good offers by email and efficient inexpensive delivery. Never had to send anything back so can't comment on that aspect

+1, shame they closed the Penarth branch but have ordered some oars which could only get from a dealer and they came up trumps, even swapped them out for a bigger size.

probably the best Internet chandlery in the UK, their shop in Penarth is good too (have they closed it??).
