Marine engineer needed urgently in hamble

I urgent a marine engineer type person for ten mins tomorrow...Sat the 25th.

I have a new alternator and I cannot remove the single pulley as the nut is on too tight.

No where seems to have people in the workshops on Saturdays

Can't help with your request. But have you checked it's not a reverse threaded bolt/nut?

You need to have a vice large enough to grip the OD of the pulley securely while you remove the nut. You will never do it "freehand"

Sounds like you just need to get an impact gun on it, will probably come off easy with one.
