Marine diesel @ £1.13 a litre in Scotland Road Diesel £1.05

Having just being charged £1.13 a litre at Croabh Haven (with the 60/40 discount) is this a record for marine diesel in Scotland?.

Only £0.97 on the Island of Kerrera with i suspect more transportation costs

We are getting road Diesel for 99.9p in Glasgow so maybe going down that route for fuel is a good idea when the boat (eventually) goes back in the water.

Welcome to the club, I was stung by that at the beginning of the season. It took as long to fill in the paperwork as it would have taken to drive to Lochgilphead and back with a couple of cans .. and you'll still cop it if you put it in your car

For those of you that are going into Tobermory Marina, the garage was charging 62p per litre for marine diesel if bought at the gargage by cans (minimum delivery on pontoon 30lts and charge may be slightly higher)

Port Ellen about 85p per Ltr and brought to marina in a road bowser.

Just Glad I am not a Gin Palace filling up at Croabh Haven

Pop round to Ardfern then - looks like I was charged 85p/litre on Sunday

Marine Diesel @ Croabh for £1.13 per litre is this a British Record

Ardfern @ 0.85p / Ltr and Croabh @ £1.13/ Ltr someone some where is making a massive profit out of the new pricing system

Considering that you can walk a mile or so over the hill from Ardfern to Croabh I dont think that the reason for the higher prices can be put down to Delivery / Transportation.

Can anyone beat the £1.13 @ Croabh

Just for once then the south coast is cheaper. with 60/40

Premier Gosport was 0.75p per litre
MDL Brixham was 0.85p per litre
Brest €1.16
Guernsey £ 0.55

Rip off in operation I think!

You have to be careful with the prices at Craobh. A few years ago I had a lift out and put in a cradle for anti fouling. My son and I did the job but they got the tides wrong and had to launch next day when we weren't there. It cost me around £330 which was about &100 more than Kip which really surprised me. I like the place and have spent a few seasons there and got to know the staff well but you need to watch the prices.

2 weeks ago at Peterhead it was £1.13 whereas at Lossiemouth it was 66p.
