Hi to all!
I am since a short time owner of a Marine Cox 22 (two mast 22 ft. bilge keeler) and sailing it now among the Dutch and German North Sea islands.
I would like to have information about this boat as for instance
to know if anybody knows where the builders are settled and if there is any possibility to still get any original parts for her. I am searching for original technical drawings, etc.
She has a 30 HP diesel engine (Perkins Terama) and has two masts. Im needing original sails, mast parts, etc.
Please comment
Kind regards
Alfredo

A very good post was made on Cox Marine's boats recently, I don't know how to post the link, but try this URL:

or search on "Cox" on this forum in the last few months.

They were very well engineered and made at Brightlingsea in Essex I believe. Cox Marine have not been in business for many years, but made a range of motor and Motorsail boats in modest numbers from 22 feet to 27 feet.

I had a Cox 22 about 20 years ago; Hawkwind was her name but with a 9hp Yanmar she was NOT fleetfooted! And she was very under canvassed - but a nice 2nd office with its large table and fun to fish from and potter. I envy you your proper engine - but cannot help re spares. Happy sailing.

Hi to all!
Does anybody knows if both masts from a Marine Cox 22 motor sailor should be straight parallel to each other or should they be lightly angled to the center of the boat???
Regards
Alfredo

Hi to all agin!
For atime ago It was somebody offering all rigs and sails for a Marine Cox 22 because he was converting his Cox 22 in a motor boat. He never answereed the given phone number.
In spite of a person it was an answering machine there. People do die sometimes...
Do has anyone any parts for a Cox 2, sails?
Masts? Anything?
