Marina swap

I'm with an MDL marina - Has anyone tried arranging a private 'swap' for a week or so with someone who would like to be based elsewhere for a week or so? Would a company like MDL tolerate this or id there something in the small print??

At the risk of legal action, I do not know any marina that allows such sensible and gentlemanly conduct.

Also with MDL and on a privately owned berth space not sure about what you can do with another privately owned bertholder but would be great idea if workable

I think you'll find that it is clear in the T&Cs that you are paying to berth your boat, not to rent the berth. There was a similiar thread to this a month or two ago.
