I've just had a brief online search, but can anyone point me to something resembling a website gathering sailors reviews of different marinas up and down the land (and France)? You know, the trip advisor kind of thing.

When I was bored at new year, and out of frustrating at trying to get the correct information, I set up a forum for just this (which is more of a blog as there are no members hardly)...take a look http://www.boatingabroad.com/Forum/
It's a place to gather information for Brazil and Switzerland where I was struggling over the years to find out what I needed to do. I added in the UK and Australia (and can add any others needed). I want to be able to find out if marinas are any good, prices, fuel prices, offers etc and have set up many other sections. See what you think...feedback appreciated.

ActiveCaptain.com - though currently very US-centric - seems to be beginning to include an increasing number of UK and European Marina reviews, all discoverable through an online map. What I like about it is that is also integrated into the Garmin BlueCharts app.

www.digimap.gg/marinas has lots of details photos and links on marinas around Brittany and some first hand accounts.

There is a useful app called 'Marina Guide' but it only covers the UK
