It can be less than that as well

We paid less than 80 euros for a 20m berth and about 45 euros for a 16m berth late season.

As you say, it is right in the middle of one of Europe's best cosmopolitan cities.
The metro is just a stone's throw away and the Ramblas are only a short walk from the marina.

Mmm, what size of boat are you talking about? We paid a lot less than that in August 2008 for a 15m berth in Port Vell. I know there are liveaboard forumites in Port Vell but I wasn't over enamoured with the place when we visited. Yes it's very centrally located for the various delights of Barcelona but I found it stifingly hot when we visited. For me, I would prefer to visit in Spring or Autumn when the temp and humidity are a bit lower. Also there do seem to be issues with security there. They try hard to keep the lowlife out but I'm not sure they always succeed. Also, swell gets into the marina on occasions, mainly due, I think, to comercial boats in the adjacent harbour.
Btw, a word of warning. Don't go drinking with the forumites who live there

25m Motoryacht.

It is July so shirt of your back time. Thanks for heads up on the security, but either myself or other crew member will always be on board.

An interesting thing is that I have also got prices for Port Grimaud as owner wants to go to SOF. They are quoting €200 per night as well.

I think we will anchor most nights so will have to wing it on the mooring h in SOF.. Only need to go ashore for victuals, dry cleaning etc..
