Ahoy! For some reason, the majority of marinas do not publish their slip layout diagram on their website so I have been building an online library of marina maps to help boats when they are entering an unfamiliar marina. I'm always looking for new diagrams so, if you have one and would like to contribute it to the library, please email it to me at dale@themarinersguide.com. Or, if you know of a marina that does have a map on their website, I'd really appreciate a link to it.

If you'd like to see what maps have already been published you can see the list here http://themarinersguide.blogspot.com/p/marina-map.html. Much thanks.

Reeds include a "marina guide" with their almanacs each year which contain plans for nearly all the marinas in this country. Not sure how you'd get hold of a copy in San Diego, but it could populate the whole of the UK for you in one go...

I don't actually use the damn thing so you'd be welcome to mine were it not on the wrong continent.

Thanks, Pete! I like the almanacs but I don't like the price, probably because my dad was Scottish =). The best maps I've sen are the ones that the marina gives you after you check in. They are great because they show the rows, slips numbers, pump-out, fuel dock, transient slip, etc.

Exactly, that's what the Reeds guide does. Note it's not the almanac itself, it's a separate book that comes with it (and I promptly stick on the shelf or throw away).

I don't remember ever being given a map of a marina, though I daresay some do.

You might go to higher end marinas than I do! lol
