Thanks to all who replied to my original post, even if the results were not positive!

I have had offers of an annual berth at 3 marinas in Plymouth, none of which offered a deal (which was asked for).
My conclusion is that despite the credit crunch, yachties are still able to pay the asking price for a marina berth - perhaps it's the last sacrifice.

I am still looking.

There are several sublets on the board at Plymouth Yacht haven.... more than i Have seen in years past.... might be worth a look....

Many thanks photodog!
Unfortunately we are in Portugal (working!), but perhaps we can get someone to go and look at the board.
We are coming to PLH beginning of May in the new boat - first voyage.
I was in PYH a few years ago and liked it. The Bori's a winner.
Cheers.

The only problem with PYH is Bobby the manager. She's a wich, white one granted. She rules the place like Attila the Hun. Not apparent till you cross her. Or her poor staff do. Mind she does give last rights, if you need them.
