Just read in another thread that Marex announced a new model: 330 Scandinavia | Marex
a smaller version of the 375:
- shafts or sterndrives
- indoor and cockpit seating
- side door
- two cabins
- heads with separate shower cubicle
- two sizes bathing platform

A bit bigger than the Nimbus 305 and also a bit more headroom from the data. what’s not to like?
looks to me like a very interesting design for this size.
the price might be steep as the shaft/V- drive option is with single Volvo D6-480 pk...quite a lot.
opinions?

Looks a very nice boat, especially on a shaft drive but, as you say, the price may be high. The build quality of Marex’s that I have a seen at boat shows were excellent. Certainly a good alternative to a Nimbus.

Looks pretty nice. I like the Marex boats, seem well built with clever features. They do tend to pack a little too much into them I’d prefer a bit more open space. I think though I’d go for the 375 depending on what the pricing is. For example the master cabin looks like you need to climb up onto the bed

Marex is a full planing hull vs the semi displacement of Nimbus right?
That is true. From what I heard the Nimbus has a very smooth ride and low consumption. The Marex is full planing. I recall from the MBY test that the 375 was fairly economical as well, so would be very interesting to compare. The Nimbus is quite small and with limited headroom in the cabins and head. Perhaps this Marex gives just that bit of extra space.

I have always really liked Marex and this looks like a nice addition to the line up. The fact you can get it on shafts is appealing as well...
