marconi overnight mooring

hoping to visit Marconi this sunday with 2 other yachts, would like to pick up one of the moorng opposite the club, could any learned forum_ite tell me if there is a contact so i may ask rather than just grab a mooring and hope!

There is a visitor's mooring on the on the outer row directly opposite the club, a couple of members are hereabouts who might be able to provide contact regarding vacant buoys.

And the visitors mooring whilst very secure and close to the shore gets a bit rolly when there is any chop at all. Vacant members moorings are usually slightly more comfy and at weekends there is probably somebody around to ask which are free. Very hospitable and friendly club.

Beware those fibreglass buoy`s they do clunk yer bows wind over tide

My mooring, B7-Reflection, is free. No strops fitted but there is a shackle that you can pass lines through.
