Further to the recent Marcon Tomahawk 25 thread here at http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=220021, here is a copy of the Sabre catalogue I have from the mid 70's.

Also attached is a copy of one of Yachting Monthly's classic 'One Man and his Boat' articles involving Ken Endean and his Sabre 'London Apprentice', and a page about the Sabre from a Yachting World rally in 1975, in the days when YW was keen on 'small' boats! :)

Loads of them still about and I think the owners association has about 240 or so on the books.

Very, very good technical help with a full Manual available for the mods and improvements and generally few problems the boat has had over the last 30 plus year. Ours is 38 years old and apart from not being modern has no discernible major faults.

Quite nice boat for short-handed crew - sails well and can be made to point reasonably well. We always assume that somehow, she'll always get us home. Very reassuring.

thanks for the info Bajansailor, could be what I have been looking for especially with the outboard motor,as long as there is ennuf room for a vane steering gear on the transome!
