mar menor jelly fish

Hi I was thinking to visit Mar Menor next week. I have been there in recent years and sometime it has been full of jelly fish and other times quite O.K. any one been there recently for a jelly fish update for me please?

If it is bad again we may avoid. thanks

Report from some pals from last week was that you don't need to use the dinghy to get ashore, you can just walk there!

Swimming today in Cala del Pino no sign of jellyfish. It depends on wind direction and currents, usually ok on weather shore. We are anchored here waiting for 30 kn winds to blow through tomorrow.

Inside the mar Menor about three weeks ago...

The jelly fish were wall to wall. That said, we saw several people swimming amongst them without wetsuits or stinger-suits, so we wondered if perhaps they're not the stinging type? I wasn't prepared to go in and test the supposition
