Arrived on time and all working again.. entertainment provided by the 'my river cruiser' chap who insisted the hand wind would work if turned enough times.. he spent 15 minutes winding the damn handle with zero movement of the gates, getting more and more irritated that nobody else would take over.. we explained he was wasting his time and had a drink, while he grumbled and kept on turning the handle... bless him...
