manual for old Sterling Marine power charger

Hi
I have a (very?) old Sterling marine Power charger/power supply. I have been told that Sterling don't have a manual for this model. Does anyone have one please - not sure how large they are..... but electronic copy would be great.
Alternatively a model number might help me google one. So far cannot find any matching pics of my unit. Its working fine, connected to two exide marine dual ER550 115Ah, but dont know how old my batteries are, and may need to replace, so will need to know if/how to change settings, and if I can fit a starter and domestic rather than two the same.

I fitted a similar model a few years ago, here is a thread from the time:

Mine looks a similar vintage to yours though the case design is different in a few respects. I managed to get by, with the help of that thread, and looking at the generic info on the Sterling website. It has worked fine.

Did Sterling tell you that? If you can at least get them to identify the model then you might be able to find something on the web.

Yes, that's what the brief email reply said, I described the unit and sent an image of the unit. If only they would ID the model, but that's why I have come here!

It's one of the early models of the "international" charger range. Most of the settings are detailed on the label, I think. I have a manual for the subsequent model, which is very similar. If you send me a PM with your email address, I'll happily send you a PDF of the manual.

That would imply Charles Sterling replied to you himself.

I'm surprised he couldn't ID the unit as it obviously looks like one of his.

Hopefully someone has the same model. It looks older than the one that came with my boat which was probably circa 2003-2004 I guess.

I would be surprised if Charles would have said that, he may be a bit grumpy (with daft questions) on the phone but he has helped me a few times with queries.

I'm surprised too. I've found him gruff but helpful with a very rapid response to questions by e-mail. There's just an implication of don't you dare ask a stupid question.

Many thanks to pvb who has already sent me on a pdf manual, which is brilliant.
As to what Charles Sterling said or didn't say, I simply attach the text of his only e-mail below, simply to clarify and support my initial statement, which was intended to be purely factual and to give reason as to why I was/am approaching ybw rather than the obvious alternative of approaching Sterling Power.

Not a "snappy remark", there's no point posting anything here unless you've checked it first, as you've now painfully discovered. My helpful suggestion has I think been acknowledged in post 11.
