Heard on CH16 yesterday boats being asked to look for a person in the water off the approach to the river at Ordfordness. Anyone know the outcome?

Yes we heard this on the VHF asking us to look out for a person in the water - a potential suicide bid I understand, just after we left the Deben. Which explained the Police Constables on the foreshore at Felixstowe Ferry, we wondered what they were doing.
Not heard the outcome though.

Rescue services stood down by coastguard around 1 pm. no one found.
