Thanks - no, we weren't going to leave that early either, but wanted to be sure we wouldn't have to drag the dinghy over half a mile of good East Coast mud unless we stayed till HW.
 
At the eastern end of the moorings there's bags of water. At the western end C row can get a little shallow at LWS. If a fin keeler and in doubt, find a mooring in B row towards the eastern end...
 
Well... very interesting day indeed.

Lots of things I thought should work, didn't work. Lots of things I was not sure about, worked.

More details will no doubt will follow.

Thanks Roger for organising it all. I am sure we all walked (sailed) away with new insights on MOB recovery.

Sorry I couldn't stay for the BBQ, but it was great to see that even out of date life rafts inflated when required.
