Agree. That's why I have a boat, to avoid getting all wet and shivery

Actually, yes I do. It is also safe to go out in a boat if the water is too cold to swim in as long as if you do go in you don't stay in too long. Moral, if you run through Maldon mud on your own you would probably hear the sound of 'flapping white coats' ? Do it in a group and 'it makes you proud to be British' !
