Evening all. I have been seeking a suitable, guide dog, wife and tide friendly home for Alexandros and have finally settled in Maldon. For a year at least.

Are there any other forumites resident thereabouts? We are behind the chandlers. Don't know what it's called.

In case you fancy looking at a film of mostly brown muddy water, there is a new one just up on the blog.

You must be a neighbour to my friends Bernie & Chris just up the road, also Tish & Derek nearby. Good luck with the move. I'll ask them to look out for you.

I have found out that it is called Marinestore Berths. Catchy name! Still good tidal access (for the Blackwater at least), clean toilets and showers, secure(ish) car park, 2 nice pubs nearby and nice and secluded. All for well under £1000 per annum. Pleased so far!

It would be great to meet other loonies, Alex is a W21, on the pontoon next to the slipway. Kettles always on, but the rum has ran out! Purser has been informed:)

...for the compliment. Glad you like the silly films. They are really a sort of scrap book cum photo album for me. Yes Maldon seems nice. Looking forward to testing the tidal access.
