As the weather was poor when we last visited I did not fly the drone so as I was in Croydon for work we decided to return to Maldon and have a little fly. I was close to high water and looked a lot better for it. It was very dull and over cast however but still worth a flight. Short video below

Many thanks for that, it was lovely. I clicked on the link with a degree of trepidation as I left the area around 50 years ago and have always regarded it as my roots but it still looks very much like the Maldon I new and really enjoyed. What changes have been made haven't spoilt the essential feel of the place by the look of it.

I have lived in Suffolk all of my life and I am ashamed to say that we only discovered Maldon this year. Glad you enjoyed the video. We will be going back in the spring for a cream tea Her indoors likes that sort of thing I am more of an all day Brekkie kind of guy
