Making up bunks/beds in cabins

I use two double duvets - one under (& leccy blanket under that), one over, air them over the boom when I can. It is a bugger getting the duvets into their covers though...

It is a bugger getting the duvets into their covers though...

I rarely use duvets, but I thought that the trick was first to scrunch up the cover so you could grip the outside of an interior corner while at the same time gripping, through the cover, the corresponding corner of the duvet itself. Keeping firm hold of those two corners in one hand, pull one edge of the duvet into the cover, stretching out the cover to enclose it. Depending on elbow-room, size of hands and tog rating, extend the corner grip to include the whole of the newly mated edge.

Then work away from the nicely matched edge to enclose the rest of the duvet.

Tackle any other duvets after happy hour!

If I owned a duvet I could make an instructional video. Maybe Dylan Winter could make some money from such...
