Takes around 4 hours each way from RCC. Please note this picture ......the first and last wake shot of any of OGs boats ...ever Looked at weekend Wx and decided got to do something in fact anything... A trip to Conyer marina was on the cards as the season is virtually over. Due to distinct lack of water did not take the direct route. but went the long way round. this adds a mile or two. The following pix are the approach to the marina from the Swale after tide has gone. and the local wildlife Well and truly aground Perfect weather ......and yes of course something did pack up .......needed to change a blimming impeller on arrival. Great little clubhouse and only £20.00 a night with power and water. Recommended. Just case now of trying to squeeze in a St Kats trip before it all goes pear shaped and the light goes.

Cheers Chris, impeller was only fitted when boat was launched 15 months ago. Alarm went off near Queenborough Spit, could not be bothered to check and continued on one engine. Most vanes had split at base but fortunately remained attached. How some folks can leave impellers for years and years is absolute mystery. We were in company of WaveDancer and Mr Muddles. How did your trip on the "Cambria" go, heard you on Ch 74 and noticed the barge moored at Gillingham. See you on Wednesday for briefing of this weekends events. ?

I'm going for a two year impeller change schedule, as advised by Mr P but have spares onboard just in case as they're fairly easy to change on our layout.
Trip on Cambria was excellent, there are a few pics in the east coast forum.
Yes, briefing Wednesday, but there will also probably be an email going out this evening after the committee meeting as I still don't have any keys for the office!

Impeller fitted on launch last season only lasted 170 hours :(

You should be alright, Snetterton is in Norfolk...
I was wobbling about carrying on doing the Clerking and after a nine and a half hour drive to Pembrey on a Friday, working from 07.00- 19.00 on Saturday and Sunday, dealing with unhelpful circuit staff and then driving home straight after the event confimed that I no longer wanted to do it......

Lovely circuit, Pembrey....
