As some of you will now just bought an F43 and we are finding the beds to be too firm. Have tried a feather matress topper.

Solutions anyone?

Have thought about buying new sprung matress but they have to be the right size and the aft cabin one needs to split in half........

Try K&H Fabrics in Eastlands Boatyard.

They don't have their own website (hence above link), but I found the guy there (sorry name escapes me) to be really good.

We had similar problem (hard bed) in the Forward Cabin on our S38. He replaced the foam mattres and put in a Memory Foam topper which has really made a difference (total cost inc VAT @17.5% came to £310.20) which I thought was pretty reasonable when it was made to measure and like yours, had to have a split in the middle. We received other quotes of £500 or more. Either K&H were very competitive or the others just didn't want our business?

I think he does other mattresses such as sprung etc., as well, but not sure.

I have 2 off memory foam mattresses on my F43, you have to be careful though, otherwise you will have no headroom to sit up in your aft berth.
where do you keep your F43?
