I have the teak ,and have a decent router. I want to make up some gratings .Can anyone point me to a website which could give me instructions, hints and tips etc.? ( PS....I have the Howells catalogue but not the fat wallet!!)

Nice one Mac! I did not think to look at the site..I have the printed catalogue which does not have this in it. The instructions are for making up one of their kits, but as you say I can easily adapt them to suit. Thanks.

There is a good article in the June issue of practical woodworking. it shows how to route all the halving joints.
Its actually for a french bread board but the pictures are clear.

Looked at the Shipstore instructions and thought great I could do that. Went to boat and measured up. Came back only to find that its a Yank site. Does any one know where I could get the bits in the UK to make up a grating?
