PS. The moral of this story goes back to the first two lines of my OP. Don't offer up the windows up to the tape until you have cut big holes through the tape with some sort of hole cutter....the holes in the butyl want to be larger than the holes in the grp you are fixing the windows to.
And finally good technique might have meant I would not have destroyed so many interscrews and have completed my 80th .....I was one short..?
