I,m interested in a small trailer sailer in Majorca.
Time of year is making it quite difficult for me to get over there myself to have a look at it before making an offer.
Only a few flights around and pricey accomodation too.
So, I,m wondering if there are any Majorca based forumites with relevant experience, who would be prepared to give the boat a look over for me, or otherwise ,knows someone reliable down there who could help.
No pressure at all - the boat is almost 30 years old so I,m not expecting a new boat. The photos I,ve seen look good ,but sometimes the camera does lie!
The boat is GRP - 7mts x 2.5mts with lifting keel and on a 4 wheel trailer.
My main concerns are chiefly "rampant" osmosis( I,d expect a few blisters), topsides /deck damage or crazing , overstreched rig, chainplates mast etc
and water ingress damages to interior. Trailer condition (visable)would also be helpful.
Appropriate renumeration would naturally be offered !
