I'm in the process of replacing an old traveller track with a new longer one. The track runs across the cockpit mounted either end in a rebate on the seats. It's spaced off the seats a bit with plastic spacers to avoid the car fouling the seats themselves. You can see the rough arrangement in the pic.

Because the new track is longer I'll have to replace the plastic spacers with something longer. Anyone know where I can get such things or would it be easier just to use a bit of teak!?

I made a decorative wooden support from a piece of 2x4".
It was meant to be temporary as I'd moved it back from the bridgedeck, but somehow it stayed there. It did the job.
