Seconded! They repaired my old sails for years, and made me a full suite of new cruising sails, all still in good shape after 40K miles.

I have heard Owen sails at Oben are good, but Jes sails at Ardrossen ( I think) are highly recomended by a lot of folk around here. The Largs sail makers will be guaranteed to charge well over the odds, infact think of a number and double it.

Saturn Sails in Largs are not the cheapest but if you want a quality job that will last I would recommend them but do get a quote first!

I have had several sails repaired or recut by Saturn and have been pleased with the service.

I have also used Jess Sail in Ardrossan but have been very disappointed in the quality of work and service.
