I questioned you experts weeks ago about mailsails and flattening reefs and loose feet and full battens, etc.
Well, i've done it. Bought a new mains, full battened, cunningham and no other parafernalia. It will be delivered begin april which makes me feel like i'm going to be a dad for the first time.
If you see this sleek Phantom 32 (Windward) with its beautifull white mains sailing on the Thames estuary in June you know its me.

Thanks for all the advises.

Congratulations I expect you will be pacing up and down as you get near the delivery date.
I purchased a new fully battened main from a well known sail maker two years ago and was disappointed after ordering it at the London boat show for delivery in April. Three weeks into April no sail, it then took me four more weeks, letters and phone calls they hadn't even started the sail by the end of April. The point I am making is to contact the supplier in Mid March to ensure they stick to the delivery date.
PS The sail is great all the curves in the right places much better upwind enjoy !!

All the best Trevor.
