Maindeck boots, any good?

After my old boots finally disintegrated, looking for leather shorties. Please spare me the debate of leather vs rubber (in the boots area, other uses please post in the lounge ?). I have a serviceable pair of rubber ones but like the breathability of leather. Maindeck seem to be the value brand that has appeared but I can’t find any reviews. Anybody got some?

My son has just "aquired" Henri Lloyd Shadow sailing boots for £86-00 if you are looking for a cheap boot of similar design. Currently an ebay deal going. They are sitting in my lounge because apparently, as I found out today, I have bought them for his Xmas prezzie

Yep but only size 3 left. Guess no one has tried these new one

Had a pair of Henri Lloyd boots which replaced a pair of old leaking Dubarry, they were great but started to leak after 8 years so was going to replace with another pair of the same last year, but found design had changed and couldn’t even get my foot into them so went back to a new pair of Dubarry.

I've got a pair of Orca Bay leather boots. Warm, breathable and highly recommended. The soles are black which seems a bit odd for sailing boots, but they don't leave any marks. Definitely worth considering and cost circa £160.

The shorter leather ones are new for 2019, so I doubt many will have used them.

Sue and I have had a pair each of their long leather boots for 3 or 4 seasons now. They have been excellent.
