I like this idea, has anyone personal experience of such a boom preventer setup?
I assume the in-boom preventer line runs back to a coachroof clutch and rigging the device is just a matter of releasing the clutch, unhooking the line from a mid boom storage hook and then snapping it onto something on deck forward of the mast.
