This relates to two further deaths, on-board, from Carbon Monoxide poisoning. I cannot remember a year when there has not been a crop of fatalities from this reason.... whether in a merchant ship, a fishing vessel, a motorboat or sailboat - even a caravan or tent.
Carbon Monoxide kills.
I recognise I have responsibility for the wellbeing of those who come on my boat, young and old, and that they expect me to make responsible decisions about their safety and about the suitability of equipment.
I cannot justify not having an effective CO alarm device on board.
They're certainly cheap enough.....
